Services & Maintenance

Through our sister company Star Shutter Protection, we now offer service & maintenance on all types of accordion shutters. Don’t leave your shutters open all year without maintenance only to find that when a hurricane is bearing down on you, the protection you spent good money on is malfunctioning. Accordion shutters need to be maintained, so why not trust the experts at Star Shutters to keep them in top working condition? At Star Shutters we offer maintenance programs to single residences, commercial buildings, and entire multi-family buildings.

• On our first trip we will come out and do a complete inspection of all of the accordion shutters on your property, telling you the condition, type, approximate age, and wind code speed your shutters were installed to protect against
• We will lubricate the top tracks and rollers with white lithium grease
• We will spray all the knuckles, joints, and locking mechanisms with aluminum spray
• After the inspection, we will give you a list of any service repairs that might need to be done, and a price for us to do them.

If you allow Star Shutter Protection to maintain your accordions correctly it will not only make them easier for you to deploy, but it will also significantly extend their life, saving you the cost of having to replace them.
